Today the videos go live.
The Manifesto and the four Foundations. Work, Personal, Father, Marital. Five films, one for each thing you have been reading here since the spring.
If you have read the essays, you know the arguments. So why watch?
Because some of this does not survive the page. The Friday I outsourced my daughter’s bottle because I was too tired to give it to her. The bench by Lake Geneva. The sentence my mother used when she left my father. I can write those things. Saying them out loud, on camera, turns out to be a different act entirely.
And because the videos are where I say the parts I still find hard to write.
The four Foundations sit below it, in a playlist called Start Here. They are built to be watched in any order. Start with the life that feels most depleted right now.
If you do not know which one that is, start with Personal. The body. The sleep. The energy. The mental state you bring into every other room. Because a depleted person cannot be a great executive. A depleted person cannot be a present father. And a depleted person cannot be the partner their spouse actually needs.
It all starts with you.
If you prefer to listen, the same five are on the podcast, on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Same words. No screen.

From Thursday, the weekly rhythm starts. One system, every week, from one of the four lives. The first is Track Your Vitals: how to stop guessing about your own body and start running it on data. Essay and video, same morning.
Nothing else changes. One essay every Thursday.

P.S. If you watch one and it lands, reply and tell me which. I read every reply. And if you have not mapped where you stand yet, the free 4-Life Audit takes five minutes.
